Camp Humphreys is about 30 minutes south of us and has a large water park that everyone raves about. We've driven past the Splish & Splash multiple times but never went in due to Elizabeth's fear of large bodies of water. But since she did so well at the kiddie pool two weeks ago, we gave it a try. Initially, she seemed very interested in going swimming, even helping to pack the bag at home with all her goodies. We changed into our swimsuits in the locker room and showered before heading outside. Once outside, all the shooting water spouts and buckets of water falling from the sky frightened her and she spent most of her time on the dry playground next to the patio chairs. I decided to swim some laps in the Olympic sized pool and after seeing some other kids in the calm lap pool with life vests on, she had no problems joining in with a life vest too. -S
Elizabeth went down the dragon slide twice, both times with mommy and did not want to do it again by herself.
Daddy trying to convince her to run through the rings with him.
Not interested in petting spitting frogs...or seals...or turtles.
Vincent enjoys napping outside in 90 degree weather and 100% humidity. He wears stylish Benetton shorts that Daddy bought for him on a shopping spree by himself.
