Auntie Jessica visits from the States
Thank you to Auntie Jessica who visited from Denver and brought along two unique baby bottles for us to try. Vincent definitely has a preference as to where his milk comes from. So far, we have tried all the bottles available for us here in Korea and he will not take any of them unless he is desperately hungry. Even then, he'll only take an ounce or so and fuss about. These new bottles that Jessica brought are suppose to mimic mama and we're hopeful he will like them. This will make going out so much easier and perhaps this tired mama can get away for a few hours for some pampering. -S

Caught you Smiling
Vincent is smiling all the time, but for some reason, I haven't been able to take a good picture of him doing it. It's hard to take action photos on the point-and-shoot camera, especially indoors without flash. Next week, I am going to take out the DSLR and get a good one. Here are a few fuzzy pictures of him smiling from this past week. -S

If you pull my hair, I will...
...blow in your face. Elizabeth's teacher told me that one of her friends pulled her pigtail today, which made her cry in class. Her teacher said that she was upset for some time. When she came home, she was in a bad mood and instead of saying her friend pulled her hair, she kept telling me that she blew in her friend's face. We've talked to her about hitting, sharing, playing nicely, and apologizing, but how do you explain to a two year old that blowing in other's faces shares germs and that she should not do it. A two year old needs to express their anger too. We didn't scold her about it this time, but soon we'll talk to her about it. -S

Happy Birthday 삼촌할아버지(Great Uncle)
We went out to Anmyeondo for a few days to visit Sana's grandmother, uncle and aunt. It also was her uncle's birthday, so two of Sana's other aunts and uncles came to spend time together. Elizabeth loves singing "Happy Birthday" and blowing out candles so much that it seems like every other week it's either her birthday or Vinny's birthday or Mommy's birthday or Daddy's birthday. She sat with 하라버지 and sang "Happy Birthday". She even blew the candles out for 할아버지. Well, she did get a lot of practice at home.
We did go to the beach twice but both times forgot to take the camera. Oops! But we did get a few of her playing with bubbles, which is currently an all time favorite activity of hers. -T

Playdate with Cameron
We had a visit today from two and a half week old Cameron, accompanied by her parents, maternal grandmother and another great aunt. For dinner, we had delicious steak and salad, with a plethora of fruit. Elizabeth ate all her steak and much of mommy's salad too, which is a first. She usually chews the spinach leaves and spits them out, due to their bitter taste. The babies had their share of the food too, just a couple hours later then everyone else. For play time, we just laid them on the floor on a blanket. Cameron must have felt the body heat from Elizabeth, because she kept turning her head towards her. Vincent is already a pro picture taker, staring straight into the lens and Elizabeth, we all know she's an expert! -S

Visiting Relatives
Last October, we were able to meet some family on my dad's side here in Korea. Since then, we've kept in periodic contact. On news of Vincent's birth, some of them wanted to come and see the baby, but not right away. They wanted to give Sana time to rest and recover from pregnancy and birth. We decided on a day when we were all free and my uncle and aunts made the drive from Seoul to come and see us. Once they arrived, Vincent went from one person to the next. It must have been a dream come true, being held for several hours. Elizabeth was a bit shy at first, but started to warm up to the elders. It was a great time and they were happy to see that we were doing well and the kids were both healthy and growing. -T
