It would have been really nice if Elizabeth was older and could walk. The area we were at had a pretty nice play area and there were a lot of kids. I'm sure she would've had a blast. I guess that will be something to look forward to in the future. Anyway, it was pretty sunny out, so this little picnic was a great way for Elizabeth to get some fresh mountain air and some sun. Not too much sun, because we didn't want her to get sun burnt. The higher altitude burns/tans the skin faster, so we tried to be careful. Although, a little color wouldn't hurt. Everyone seems to point out that she is very fair or pale skinned. She gets that from her pops. Elizabeth was keenly watching us cook our sam gyup sal and it almost seemed like she wanted some herself.
On our way down, we stopped in Georgetown to visit Sana's aunt and uncle. They have a Maltese named Milo and when he came out to say hi, Elizabeth started giggling and laughing. We sat her down next to Milo and she grabbed at his hair, so we tried to show her how to pet the dog instead of pulling the fur. Based on this and her trying to interact with Silver and Ruby (our cats), I think Elizabeth is going to love pets just like her mommy.
All in all, it was a fun day and it probably wore Elizabeth out because she slept the rest of the way home and almost went right to bed when we walked through the door. Good times, good times.
