Six months already

Elizabeth celebrated her six month b-day with all her "buddies". Since she is now six months old, there are a few changes to her routine. She now eats food three times a day, still all pureed, and can sit all by herself and entertain herself with toys. Also, she now sleeps in her own crib. Until now, she was sleeping in her pak-n-play in our room. They make play yard mattresses, so it was comfortable for her to sleep in there and be cozy. We also spend more time playing in her own room, so that she can get used to being in there.

Also, she is now vocal. Screaming, laughing, giggling, whining, they are all sounds that we hear all day long. Even from another room, you can tell her mood just by the sounds of her "ahhhhhsss".

Just last week, she starting crawling, but backwards only. They say that for a lot of babies, they start crawling backwards before being forwardly mobile. Looks like we're going to have to start baby proofing the home soon. -S
