Leaving on a jet plane...

After a year and a half on the Korean peninsula, we are traveling back to the United States for a short three week visit.  We have many things planned and many people to see.  We've been strategically packing and have narrowed it down to one large suitcase for mom and dad, one small suitcase for the kids, one small suitcase to carry-on and a diaper bag to hold immediate necessities.  Elizabeth has a small snack bag and an entertainment Pororo suitcase with her DVD player, puzzles, toys and crayons.  Her favorite movies right now are A Bug's Life, Monster's Inc., Bolt, Tinkerbell and Tangled.  We're hoping she will drag her own Pororo bag throughout the trip.  Here we are waiting at the Songtan Bus Terminal to catch the airport bus to Incheon International Airport.  The bus ride is about an hour and a half and costs 13,000 Won per adult.

A sly smile because she's drinking soda and thinks she won the battle of the day.  Little does she know, it was bribery to get her to stay in one place while waiting for the bus.

Both kids fell asleep on the bus.  When we arrived at the airport, they went straight into the stroller to continue their naps.  Check-in was a breeze and then we strolled around the airport a bit.  When Elizabeth woke up, we went to play at the playground in the terminal, got her a snack from Paris Baguette and then headed for the airplane.

Both kids were amazingly good on the flight and Vincent did especially well on his first international flight.  Here he is resting in the bassinet.  I couldn't get him to fall asleep in there, but he played with some toys while laying in there for 15-30 minutes at a time.

Upon landing in Los Angeles, we started our vacation right away by checking into the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California.  Welcome to America! -S
