Fabric Shopping

The hospital bag is packed, the nursery room is ready.  The clothes are all washed and neatly folded or hung in the closet.  The only thing missing is a baby.  At 39 weeks pregnant, there isn't a whole lot left to do, but I keep finding new ways to occupy my time.  Today, we went back to the fabric store and bought 6 different yards of fabric.  This time, I'm going to make my own nursing cover-ups.  Last time, I made some swaddle blankets.  Elizabeth was a good sport and followed me around the entire store and didn't complain once.  She too was amused at all the different textures and patterns.

Playing hide and seek.
Finding the right fabric is like searching for a treasure.  Not as organized as a Jo-Ann's, but plenty of fun.

It takes 5 minutes to get out of the car every time we park in the garage at home.  Why?  'Cause Elizabeth likes to go for a "test drive".  She pushes all the buttons and faux steers the wheel.  When Tim turns on the car in the morning to go to work, he frequently sees the hazard lights and left turn lights blinking.  It drives him nuts!  -S
