Time to steal the show

One of my cousins here in Korea got married today. I normally work on Sundays, but I managed to get out a few hours early to attend the wedding up in Seoul. We arrived just before the ceremony was to begin, but we were apparently "late" because there were no seats in the main room. We ended up standing in the back for a little bit and then moved to the "overflow" area, where meal service had already begun...during the ceremony. The food was pretty good. It was western style with steak and mashed potato and something that tasted like cream of broccoli. Elizabeth really liked the soup and had a few bites of the steak. Then she found some friends and started running around. After eating, we made our way up to the front where the whole family was seated. They were all happy to see us and really happy to see Elizabeth. All of my girl cousins were excited to see our kid saying things like "She's so cute" or "She's so pretty". They were taking pictures of her on the cat-walk/runway, trying to get high-5's, and wanting to hold her. Even some of the staff at the wedding hall played with her a little as they were moving to set up for the next wedding. It seemed as though Elizabeth got more attention from the family today than the groom or bride. Well, what can I say? She is a cutie. -T

This is the biggest birthday cake ever!  Blowing out make believe candles.
Ah!  I found some real candles to blow out. I'm sure the staff really enjoyed relighting all of the arrangements for the next wedding.
