We measured Izzie after church today and she's about 26 inches now. That's 6 1/2 inches since she was born. We're amazed at how big she is now. Just like everyone said, it happened pretty quickly and it's hard to remember what she was like the first month even though it's only been 5 months since she was born. Sigh...before you know it she'll walking and talking. That should be fun.
On another note, we've been noticing some things with the baby lately and the latest thing is that sometimes (and this seems to be on days that I'm watching her alone) she doesn't like it when I'm sitting down while holding her (I'm holding her because of that separation anxiety thing Sana was talking about). She'll start crying if I'm sitting down too long. I'll stand up and she's fine. As soon as my butt hits the couch she cries. So I pretty much pace back and forth, shift my body weight from one side to the other so my feet don't hurt at the same time, sit down for about 5 seconds, and then back up. No wonder I'm tired at the end of the day.
