Out for a stroll
Elizabeth likes to go out and walk around now that she is fully mobile...until she gets tired and wants to be carried, but that's normal, right?
Before going on a trip up to Seoul to visit Rosa and James, Elizabeth went for a short walk in front of our apartment building. We bought her a pink backpack while we were still in Denver and now that she is big enough, she was excited to wear it. So, we decided to pack some of her stuff in there, like a couple diapers and her favorite "blankie" (nothing that would over weigh her) and take that with us. She decided that she wanted to wear it on her little outing.
"Look...what's that?"
Earlier in the week, Elizabeth went to the playground. She seems to like the slide even though she couldn't really go down by herself. All she could do was climb up the slide a little and then slowly come back down using her feet as brakes. Sometimes, she just sits down at the bottom.
Elizabeth was interested to see what the older kids were doing in the soccer "field".
"Oooooo oooooo...what's going on? Can I play too?"
Elizabeth wanted to carry Mommy's bag. She ended up taking this as her own since it is just her size.

Playing at Home Plus
If E-Mart is the equivilent of Wal-Mart back home, then Home Plus is comparable to Target. There is a Home Plus near our home and we go once in a while to get groceries or other household items. On this particular day, Elizabeth spilled a whole cup of water down her shirt and it wet her pants as well. So we bought a pair of pajamas and put it on her at the store. Just in case you were wondering if we take her out in jammies, we usually don't. -S

"I can help"
We've been to Anmyeon-do several times since we've been in Korea. This one time, Sana and Elizabeth's grandmother took the kiddo while I had to work. Out of the pictures, there were these showing Elizabeth wiping the floor.
"Look Mom, I can wipe the floor."
"Ehh...I'm tired. I think I'll just lay down right here."
Some more pictures from the same trip.-T

Visiting Anmyeon-do (안면도) with Grandma
While 장모님 (Sana's mother) was visiting, we made a trip out to Anmyeon-do. It was a fun time because all the aunts and uncles came too, so that they could see their sister from the States. We ate a lot of good food and got to hang out at one of the uncle's restaurants for some seafood action.
Elizabeth poses in some pictures in front of Sana's third uncle's bed and breakfast.
Elizabeth always did like to smell the flowers.
Elizabeth likes to play in the Tiki Hut. She likes to stand on the table and peek through the gaps.
Before leaving, we took some shots by the beach. It was a pretty nice day with the flowers in bloom. -T

Time to move
We finally left the confines of the hotel room we were in for the past month and moved into our brand new apartment. And I mean brand new. The complex just opened a couple of months earlier and we are the first tenants in our unit. It's nice that we got into a new place so that we don't have to worry about an older apartment that could have mold.
Our shipment containing our stuff wasn't going to arrive for another week, so we had to make due with what we had. Elizabeth didn't have a lot of her toys except for the few small ones that we brought with us. But, she managed to keep herself entertained...with a random box...i.e. our dinner table. It's just the right height for her to play and climb on top of it.
Elizabeth is enjoying a meal in her new home. She really likes Korean soups, so here she is having some Galbi-tang (갈비탕).
After receiving our shipment, we had the fun job of unpacking and organizing. Elizabeth thought that it was time for her to climb into an open suitcase and play around in there.
Our apartment complex has three different playgrounds, although one of them is definitely more for older kids. Elizabeth went out to to see the playgrounds and got to go down her first real slide. Even though we were holding her, she still had fun.
Elizabeth really likes the swings. She probably likes the wind in her hair. -T
